What it is family! Wow those were some great emails from the both of you. It sounds like things are going awesome. I looked at some pictures of Utah the other day and it makes me miss the mountains SO much ha-ha. It’s so flat here. The closest thing we have to a mountain here is the J.W. Marriott. Mom: keeping working hard. You’re awesome!
Max got his mission call. I’m so stoked for him! Freaking SPAIN! That’s so sickkk. Ahhh. Right when you get this email, call him and tell him I love him and miss him and that I say congratulations!
So that would be cool to meet your friend Kelley McCoy but the only way that will happen is if I serve in Winter Park. What ever happened with your friends that live down in Jensen Beach? The ones that I went to go see. How are they doing? Tell Aunt Wendy and Lindsey and Jake that I love them so much!
So we had a good week. We got to know some more of the members in the ward by visiting them and stuffffff. We HAVE to involve the members more in the work. If we don't, the work won't progress as much as it could. It’s hard to get members excited about missionary work though. On Thursday we had a zone conference all about member work because that's the thing that our mission struggles with the most. It was a way good zone conference too. The rest of the week was a little slow but it's alright. We have a baptism this Saturday! So that's amazing. I feel so blessed to work with such cool people. Sebastian asked me to perform the ordinance so I’ll be doing that at 6 pm on Saturday. And Elder Fullmer will be the voice when God gives him the gift of the Holy Ghost on Sunday. So fresh!
Here's a really cool story that I forgot to tell you about a while ago: so a long time ago Elder Berhold and I were getting lunch at this place called firehouse subs (which is sooo good) and it's across the street from out apartment. So when we were walking back we saw a van on the side of the road. We decided that we should go see if they needed any help. And Elder Berhold is like a master car mechanic. So we went over and had them roll down their window and we asked if they needed help. There was a mom in the driver's seat and her son in the passenger seat. The son's mouth was just dropped (I’ll explain why later) so the mom said she needed help and got out. She had a flat tire and long story short we tried to get the bolts off the rims but they would NOT budge. At all. And Elder Berhold actually broke her tool hahaha. But anyway after apologizing that we couldn't really help we gave her a card and she said she'd call us. Now fast forward 4 weeks. Elder Christensen and Rydalch pick us up from somewhere in the truck and we start talking. They ask if we helped a lady a few weeks ago with her car. I said yes and told them the story. They say that they were just at a member's house eating and the members said their friend was that lady. She told them that right before we came strolling along she prayed to God and asked Him to send 2 angels to help her. She specifically prayed for 2 angels. Apparently that's what made the son freak out ha-ha. But how cool is that! Ah. God hears and answers all prayers! I love it. But the story ends really lame. So that lady wanted to hear our message but she went to an evangelical church and they did the whole "be healed!" thing to her and that made her want to go there. It’s ridiculous. The devil really doesn't want anyone to hear the truth. Ugh. But maybe she'll come around. So that's my story. And now I’m going to go check if I have any mail. So...I love you! Hey Family.
Mom thanks for calling me a gospel gangsta. I’ve been trying to convince the other elders how much of a gangsta I am and I showed them that for proof. They recognize now. That letter thing that Miss Jackson (oooooh, I am for real) is doing sounds really good. That will make it a lot easier to stay in some good contact with friends. I never really have a lot of time to write letters.
This week was pretty good. It seemed really long. Elder Fullmer is doing pretty well. He’s having a few struggles but he'll overcome them. Sebastian’s baptism is actually going to be the first weekend in September. There is a wedding reception at the church on Saturday and it's at the only time that his mom could come. So we're doing it the following Saturday. But he's still on track. We have to teach him all the commandments. So we'll do that this and probably next week. We biked in the pouring rain this week to get to an appointment at Sebastian’s house. I love biking in the rain ha. It’s way fun. Just soaked head to toe. Florida rain is crazy. It’s like waterfall out of the sky. We had two investigators at church. Sebastian and Ryan. I’ll tell you more about Ryan as we start to work with him more. He was a referral from the Spanish missionaries so the first time we met him was when he came to church. He’s pretty positive though. It’ll be good :)
But that's all the important stuff that happened this week. I’m out like a sprout. Love you ta-ta-ta def homies. Have a great week!

Hello my family. Sounds like you had a great experience at the temple with Aunt Sue. Tell her that I love her and am so glad she went through the temple! She’s been endowed with powerrrr! Whooo! And I’m so stoked that Marc is going to New York! That’s awesome. I actually ran into someone who knows the Bacon family and was good friends with Chad. His name was Brady. I don't remember his last name but we met them while we were knocking doors. Small world. And Max got his papers in. That's sooooo sweet. Ah I’m so glad. I just want all my friends to know what the mission is like. It’s the best!
And Mom...I’m happy that you've found a new addiction. Working out is great. I’m in the best shape I think I’ve ever been in. I definitely want to keep the eating and work out habits that I have right now after the mission.
So you both are going to Hawaii for Christmas...that will be really nice I bet. Send me a postcard of you both on the beach and I’ll send you one of me in an apartment complex in my sweaty pros clothes. Good trade. I’m glad to hear that Jake got a job and stuff. Tell him I say "WHAT UP DAWGGG!" :)
Things here have been good though. This week we had very little success. On Saturday we talked to 50 people and NOT ONE of them gave a crap haha. I haven't had a day like that in a really long time. Maybe even my whole mission so far. It was crazy. But yesterday we met this lady named Ivy and she's awesome. We’ll be meeting with her again on Tuesday. Sebastian went to mutual last Wednesday and had a lot of fun. He made friends with all the kids so that was great. Then he and his mom came to church yesterday. They enjoyed it. And after, I asked Sebastian if he was coming next week and he said "pshh yeah...every week!" Ah it made me so happy. He’s on track for his baptism on the 28th of this month. It’s going to be sweeeeeet.
So my new companion, Elder Fulmer, is a good guy. He’s from Murray, Utah. Everyone calls Utah "the factory". It’s pretty funny ha. Because of all the missionaries that come from there. He’s twice as big as me ha-ha. And he is excited to work hard so that makes me really glad. I love working with new missionaries because they have no expectations about the work. It’s great. But his first week was really unsuccessful so this week we'll just have to work twice as hard. I know the Lord has a plan for the both of us being together.
The English class is going veryyy well. We had 15 people there last Tuesday and then 9 on Wednesday. Hopefully we'll be able to pick up some investigators from the bunch. Its cool going too because I actually learn things hahaha. Brother Reisner is really smart.

K, first off I’m going to answer your questions because I know it bugs you when I don't. Mom: 1. by transfer I mean the 6 week periods that we do things by. Every six weeks is called a transfer. And you have the possibility of being transferred every 6 weeks. But President usually will keep you in an area for 3-4 transfers. 2. Senior comp is pretty much no different than junior comp ha-ha. But elder Berhold and I were co-senior. So you're supposed to switch off being senior every week but no one really does that ha-ha. Dad: 1. I’m FINE! Ha :) 2. I don't need anything. 3. I’m sleeping great. 4. Yes, I got the phone number for an orthodontist. I just need to make an appointment.
Alright now that that's over with . . . ha-ha. So dad you just launched a Xocai protein powder!? Please send me some! Pharrell. That’s sweet. I have a lot right now because I got 6 lbs. at Costco for 30 bucks (which is an amazing deal) and it's pretty good but I want to try the Xocai stuff. So if you could send me that that would be awesome. Mom it sounds like you had a good time doing the makeup job for "Earl the pearl". Always working with the celebs. (You’re so jaded. Ha! Kidding :)
So this last week was good. We had 7 investigators committed to coming to church and 2 came. Hans and Margie! That was a blessing. Hans got off work. It was the best. And they stayed the whole time. They really enjoyed it. And Hans was just ballin' so hard in priesthood. Answering questions from the Stake President that some of the elders and high priests didn't even want to answer (or didn't know! uh oh! shh).
The English class went very well. We had 6 people show up, plus missionaries and a guy in the ward. So now that we got enough people coming we're going to make it every Tuesday and Thursday. Everyone really enjoyed it. And Bro. Reisner is a really good teacher. Then again he should be because he has a master's degree in teaching pretty much ha-ha. But it was sweet. I’m excited for the one tomorrow. So we have ZERO dates now ha-ha. But we'll be resetting some of them this week hopefully. We’re teaching a lot of cool people right now so hopefully they'll take it seriously!
So transfer calls were this last Saturday. Elder Berhold found out that he is getting transferred up to Ocoee. We definitely had a few bumps together but I’ll miss him. He’s a good guy. And I found out that.......I’m pregnant. I figured I should tell you now before you find out later. I’ll be giving birth to a son tomorrow. I can feel him kicking as I type. I don't know his name yet though. Hahahaha I’ll be training a new missionary! It’s going to be great. I’ll meet him tomorrow at the mission office at 10 am. So I’ll probably be with him for 2 transfers.

Sounds like things are still good for you both back home. Things here are pretty good. Our dates tanked. Went from 7 to 3. We still can't get people to come to church. We didn't have anyone at church again. Bummer. Hopefully we can get some to come this week. The only people we have that are still eligible for baptism right now is Cecile/Isabelle and Sebastian.
We’ll be starting an English speaking class this week. Our new ward mission leader Bro. Reisner is a baller. He has a master’s degree in teaching English as a second language. So we're going to try to get investigators to come to that. For right now it will be every Tuesday at 7 pm at the church. If we can get enough people coming, it will be every Tuesday and Thursday. We already have a few people coming. It will be really good. We are making some flyers today. There’s no obligation and it's free. We’ll start and end with a prayer and a short spiritual message. We’re thinking that questions about the church will just automatically come up :) we're tricking them. Hahaha. We’ll probably throw some subliminal messages at them too. Haha. It will be fun though.
Not much else is going on though. I’ve been sleeping pretty well. Last night was bad though. But besides that it's good. This is the last week of the transfer. It flew by. I can't believe July is already over. So crazy. But that's about it for now. I love you! Have a great week! :)
